School meals can use the Nutrition Program to show recipes
Thankyou to all the staff and students at Mill Chase School in Bordon Hampshire for testing the program. Year 9 produced a label with costing in nearly 20 minutes and printed out and annotated their work. Year 7 did a diet analysis and wondered how to improve the fibre.
Teachers and school meals providers came to an inset and learnt how to use the program to make labels. The School Meals cooks said they are going to produce recipes to show the healthiness and allergens along with a picture.

Testing the Program in Schools

We’ve been out and about testing the program and working with teachers in Scotland and students at Fakenham High School and Ricards Lodge High School in Merton. Many thanks to all the students who used the program to analyse their diets.
Students at Ricards Lodge can be seen in the pictures analysing their recipes for their GCSE coursework, to find out the recipe cost and design the label with a digital image. They exported the work from their program and annotated it in Word and Publisher. Students worked quickly and easily and finished some excellent work.
If you would like us to come to your school and show the program to other teachers, please contact us.
We are also arranging school visits around the country for the autumn term so will update you shortly about those.
